Mission Partner Program
The Prevention Training Officer Program was designed to be relevant and useful regardless of your service module - but that's not where the vision started.

Prevention is chronically and critically underfunded and understaffed. Many departments are running with one, two, maybe three dedicated personnel, and some don't even have that.
While we can't get you more funding or more positions, we are committed to coming along side your department and equipping you to be successful with whatever resources you have.

On top of all that, and perhaps most important of all, it has to be within financial reach. That's where the Mission Partner Program comes in. If your organization has three or fewer dedicated Prevention personnel, you can sign-up for a discounted program. The program comes with either the Fire and Life Safety Module, the New Construction Module, or both, as well as the community forum function with other Small Departments.
Program Options

Fire and Life Safety Inspector
Designed for fire prevention personnel who perform fire and life safety inspections in existing structures or spaces and enforce the California Fire Code.
$1,200 per year flat rate.*
No set-up or user fees.

New Construction Inspector
Designed for inspectors who perform fire protection system inspections on new construction or tenant improvement job sites, enforcing the requirements of the California Fire Code and referenced NFPA standards.

All Hazards Inspector
Does your team do it all?​
There's a reduced rate for departments who select both the FLSI and NCI program. This ensures that your inspectors are trained and ready for whatever standard inspection comes their way.
$2,000 per year flat rate.*
